With this app, you get:
- The ability to sell or give away items on the FINN marketplace
- Instant notification of new matches in your personal saved searches (Anyone selling Bruce Springsteen tickets? PING! You will be notified)
- The ability to mark found items as favorites for easy retrieval later on
- Viewing of ads on a map and searching for items near your location
Permissions we require:
- Location - to display ads on a map and allow users to sort ads based on location
- Use accounts on devices - required for login via Google+/Facebook and push notifications
- Full network access - necessary to display ads
- USB storage - caching of data for improved performance
- Prevent phone from sleeping - necessary to support push notifications for searches where users want to be notified about new ads. The app will remain active until the push notification is processed. This normally takes a few milliseconds and does not consume extra battery.
- Read phone status - used for tracking data for analysis purposes, such as determining the number of app users, app version usage, popular phone models so that we can focus on them, detect errors, and similar activities.
